Precast Feed Bunks
High Capacity J Bunks
BA Precast offers one of the most versatile high capacity J Bunks in the Midwest. Each 8 foot long bunk has a base width of 29 inches and an overall width of 36 inches, with a height of 23.5 inches in the front to 39 inches in the back
Our high capacity J bunks also offer blockouts at the base, giving cattle producers the flexibility to place their bunks and move them as needed with a standard forklift.
For those using cable and post restraints, we offer a custom-made laser cut and powder-coated T shap steel post with a 6 inch saddle. Unlike traditional bunks, our posts are bolted through the entire bunk. This increases structural stability and leverage and virtually eliminates the possibility of bunk breakage. This design also allows for optimal flexibility, using a steel cable clip that allows the height of the cable to be adjusted without having to re-thread it.
XL J Bunks
Looking for a high-bulk feeding option? Our XL J Bunk is 6 inches deeper than our traditional High Capacity J Bunk. Each XL 8 foot long bunk has a base width of 29 inches and an over all width of 36 inches, with a height of 23.5 inches in the front to 33 inches in the back.
Like our high capacity J bunks, our XL bunks also offer forklift holes at the outside base, giving cattle producers the flexibility to place their bunks and move them as needed with a standard forklift.
SUPER XL Bunks
Looking for even MORE feeding capacity? BA Precast now offers a massive SUPER XL bunk. Each bunk has a front height of 25.5 inches and a back height of 42.5 inches, measuring a whopping 44 inches across with a feeding depth of 21 inches in the front. Weighing 2900 lbs, the SUPER XL bunk also includes our standard forklift holes, giving you the option of moving each bunk with a standard forklift.
Small J Bunks
In addition to the wide variety of larger J Bunk options, BA Precast also offers a smaller J bunk option perfect for sheep, goats, and small calves. At eight feet long and 21 inches wide, these pasture bunks have a trough depth of 8 inches and are ideal for feeding smaller livestock.
The bunks are designed to be easily moved. They feature forklift holes through the entire bunk, allowing them to be easily moved from back or front at your convenience. End pieces can be purchased for an additional cost. These bunks can be placed end-to-end or used individually, giving producers maximum flexibility.
Pasture Bunks
In addition to the wide variety of J Bunks, BA Precast also offers a traditional pasture bunk. At nine feet long and 36 inches wide, these pasture bunks have a trough depth of 17 inches and are one of the largest pasture bunks on the market.
These bunks are designed to be easily moved throughout the pasture. They sit on four inch runners, allowing them to be easily moved with bale forks or pallet forks at your convenience. They are also equipped with removal ends. Pasture bunks can be placed end-to-end or used individually, giving producers maximum flexibility.
